The kingdom has called for , the establishment of a similar plan to the Marshall Plan for the reconstruction of Yemen,Tuesday in Jeddah, welcoming the initiative of Saudi Arabia to establish an International Centre on which relief countries will be the first beneficiary.
Speaking at a special session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), M’Baraka Bouaida, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, stressed the need to work towards “reconstruction of Yemen and the upgrade of its economy, so that Yemenis can enjoy a dignified life.”
The Minister also reiterated Morocco’s support for the Yemeni people “to preserve the unity and territorial integrity of their country.” It found that this support “must be accompanied by regional and international humanitarian mobilization”.
