Skhirat – The inter-Libyan dialogue to find a political solution to the crisis in Libya has resumed late Wednesday afternoon in Skhirat (near Rabat), under the Personal Representative of the UN Secretary General for Libya, Bernardino Leon.
These talks, which are in the fourth round, aim to reach a comprehensive agreement to even get out of Libya in the political crisis in the country for several months.
Take part in these discussions the representatives of two parliaments rivals, the General National Congress (parliament of Tripoli) and the internationally recognized parliament says “parliament of Tobruk.”
On the agenda of the dialogue, the last round was held late March in Skhirat are several issues including security arrangements and training procedures for a national unity government.
The Mission of UN support for Libya (UNSMIL) had recently described the Skhirat negotiations “positive and constructive”.
