Moroccan Parliament wants to criminalize contempt for religions

Speaking at the 10th session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), held in Istanbul, Mr. Yatim, the first Vice President of the House of Representatives condemned the attacking of sacred values of Islam, inviting Member States of the OIC to continue their efforts in cooperation with the UN for the implementation of this instrument.

Morocco denounces all forms of terrorism and its manifestations it terrorist groups and state terrorism, he recalled, saying the fight against terrorism requires, of course, legal and safe approaches but mostly requires tackling the causes of this scourge by favoring the values of moderation, tolerance, dialogue and religious education through institutions and programs in the fields of education, culture, media and communications.
