This is a “common goal for all of us” of strengthening security and stability in the region, including Mali and prosperity of the population, said the UN official.
He added that his talks with Mr Drais allowed him to discuss the current situation in Mali and exchange views on Morocco’s commitments in this regard.
The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss various issues related to security, development and stabilization of Mali, he continued.
Describing the talks as “very useful,” Mr Gressly stressed the need to continue meeting and to further examine these issues in the future.
