The “Monaco Aces” team, represented by Brazilian rider Yuri Mansur and Greek rider Ioli Mytilineou, won the Longines Global Champions League team title on Friday after completing both rounds without faults.

They finished ahead of the “Riesenbeck International” team, which came in second with two penalty points, and the “New York Empire” team with five penalty points.

The Rabat leg is one of the most memorable stages of the Longines Global Champions Tour thanks to its meticulous organization and its unique 5.5-hectare site, offering breathtaking views of the Hassan Tower, the Grand Theatre of Rabat, and the Mohammed VI Tower. After making history in 2024 by becoming the first African city to host the LGCT, and then confirming its place on the international calendar in 2025, Rabat is now hosting the circuit for the third consecutive year.

Founded in 2006 by former Dutch Olympic champion Jan Tops, the Longines Global Champions Tour is an international show jumping circuit that brings together the world’s best riders and horses, while the Longines Global Champions League was launched in 2016.

By hosting high-level competitions each year that attract the world’s elite in equestrian sports, such as the El Jadida Horse Show and the Morocco Royal Tour, the Kingdom of Morocco has acquired solid expertise in organizing major equestrian events that meet the most demanding international standards. This expertise is reflected in the Longines Global Champions Tour, considered the world’s premier show jumping circuit, which helps promote excellence in equestrian sports while valuing the highest level of competition and sportsmanship.
