Moroccan-Belgian Kickboxer Ambar Tesoudali Secures Hometown Victory at WFL Antwerp

CASABLANCA — Rising 15-year-old Moroccan-Belgian kickboxing sensation Ambar Tesoudali captured a memorable victory on home soil this Sunday, defeating Wissal El Idrissi at the World Fighting League (WFL) showcase in Antwerp.

The highly anticipated event, dubbed War for the Crown, took place at Antwerp’s iconic Lotto Arena after being rescheduled from its original October 3 date to November 1. Bringing together top-tier international fighters, the night held special meaning for Tesoudali, who got to compete before a hometown audience of family, friends, and fans after a busy year fighting abroad.

Tesoudali came into the bout boasting an impressive international streak. Just months earlier in August, she brought home gold from the ISKA China Open 2026 in Sanya despite facing prolonged delays and schedule shifts. Shortly after, in October, she earned a bronze medal at the IFMA European Muay Thai Championships in Paris.

Her journey in martial arts began at just five years old with taekwondo before she transitioned into kickboxing, eventually capturing an International Fight Promotion (IFP) youth championship title in the 46 kg division. Over the years, her athletic career has taken her across the globe, competing in Morocco, Germany, Italy, and Romania.

Beyond the ring, Tesoudali has also made her mark on screen, working in Belgian cinema as a stand-in for actress Nora Gharib in Patsers and making a brief speaking appearance in Paradijs.

Looking ahead, Tesoudali’s international campaign shows no signs of slowing down, with upcoming bouts slated in Portugal and Greece. Her management has also hinted at a potential world title fight in the United Kingdom scheduled for April 2027, though details remain to be confirmed.
