The Royal Address: A Message Marked by Clarity and Responsibility (Former Japanese Ambassador)

Tokyo – His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s address to the members of both houses of Parliament was marked by clarity and responsibility in its assessment of the Kingdom’s achievements and the challenges that remain, emphasized Takashi Shinozuka, former Japanese Ambassador to Morocco.

According to the former diplomat, this approach is consistent with the analysis presented by the Sovereign in previous addresses, which objectively acknowledges Morocco’s achievements and the constraints it continues to face, both domestically and internationally.

On another note, Mr. Shinozuka particularly highlighted the significance of the Royal Diagnosis on the migration issue, adding that the Sovereign stressed that the current model of cooperation in this area has reached its limits, despite the efforts made.

In this context, he emphasized the relevance of His Majesty the King’s announcement that Morocco would be presenting its partners with a document outlining a strategic vision focused on co-development, economic competitiveness, and regional stability.

This initiative demonstrates Morocco’s commitment to proposing concrete guidelines and anticipating common challenges, thereby reinforcing its status as a responsible, reliable, and proactive partner.

He concluded that this initiative is likely to open new avenues for cooperation, based on respect for mutual commitments and consideration of each party’s interests.
