Spain tripled the budget of the police cooperation with Morocco

According to figurespresented to theSpanish Parliamentand taken up byEl Pais, over 108,700euros were allocatedto Moroccolast year,againstmore than 69,000eurosin 2013 and33,600eurosa year earlier.

Intotal,250,000euros wereforpolice cooperationwith Moroccoover thelast three years.In response toa question from theBasque ParliamentarianAmaiurInarritu, the government said that40,000euros werespecifically grantedto Moroccofor activities relatedto the fightagainstillegal immigration.
