After Four African countries King of Morocco agreed to train Nigerian Imams
HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, has given his approval to the request for training Nigerian Imams in Morocco made by the Islamic Council and Iftaa instance of Nigeria, said Monday the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in a statement.
This request was sent to His Majesty by Sheikh Sharif Ibrahim Saleh Hosseini, president of the Nigerian Islamic Council and Iftaa instance on behalf of the Nigerian Ulema.
HM the King gives His high instructions to inform the party concerned about His royal high approval, and ordered the Minister in charge of Endowments and Islamic Affairs to examine the procedural aspects of the application of this request .
Morocco had agreed last February to train Imams from Libya, Tunisia and Guinea-Conakry following the training of Malian Imams, which is underway.
