The Arab Tourism Organization works in coordination with the various departments and agencies of Arab tourism with the aim of implementing the decisions of the Arab Ministerial Council tourism and promote the tourism industry in the Arab countries
The President of the OAT stressed that Morocco is among the first countries to implement the recommendations and rulings from the various sessions of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism since its inception.
Minister of Tourism , Lahcen Haddah met Tuesday in Rabat, with the President of the Arab Tourism Organization ( ALO) , Bandar bin Fahd al- Fahid on how to even strengthen bilateral cooperation in the area of tourism.
At this meeting , both parties discussed the outcome of the cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and OAT particularly with respect to the development of the tourism industry in the Arab world , the Joint Action Plan on financing of projects aimed at promoting rural tourism and responsible tourism .
The talks also focused on ways to promote the destination Morocco through the organization of a tourist week in Taif , programming a Road show during the month of June in the cities of Jeddah, Riyadh and Dhahran further strengthening partnership for training in tourism project Libyan students.
