Plane equipped with camera spying on King Residence

A small plane equipped with a surveillance camera was spotted flying over the royal residence in Tangier yesterday.

Two suspects, French and Moroccan, who monitor the aircraft using a remote control were immediately arrested and interrogated. Both men were later released. Security took this event very seriously fearing an attack or spy operation.

The aircraft was immediately seized to be examined by the authorities. Till now, the security do not know what connects the two suspects or what the nature of their business was. Last November, a same event had already attracted the interest of Moroccan government when a small spy plane crashed on the East of Tangier.
