Maroc Telecom Improves Consolidated Revenue by 5.1% at the End of September

Rabat – The Maroc Telecom Group achieved consolidated revenue of 28,682 million dirhams (MDH) at the end of the first nine months of 2026, an increase of 5.1% compared to the same period a year earlier.

This growth reflects the strong performance of its activities in Morocco, driven by the increase in data usage and subscriber numbers, as well as the positive contribution of its Moov Africa subsidiaries, the group explained in a press release.

According to the same source, Mobile and Fixed activities generated revenue of 14,332 MDH in Morocco at the end of September, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%.

International activities generated revenue of 15,177 MDH during the first nine months of this year (+6.9%). Mobile data, fixed internet, and mobile money services remain the main drivers of growth, posting respective increases of 10.4%, 16.8%, and 18.8%.

As of the end of September 2026, Maroc Telecom confirms the strength of its commercial momentum and the resilience of its operational performance. This development confirms the growth of its activities in Morocco and the acceleration of its Moov Africa subsidiaries, particularly thanks to the growth in data usage.

In a constantly evolving environment and with operating costs significantly impacted, especially energy costs, operational discipline and cost control contribute to maintaining a high level of profitability and supporting the Group’s performance.

The Group maintains an investment policy tailored to its development ambitions, particularly in mobile and fixed broadband infrastructure, to support the growth of data usage and the development of new growth drivers.

The first nine months of 2026 are thus in line with the Group’s strategic roadmap, with the continued deployment of shared infrastructure resulting from partnerships in Morocco and the development of subsidiaries’ activities, particularly in ultra-fast broadband and mobile money.

“With strong fundamentals and enhanced cash generation capacity, Maroc Telecom is redoubling its efforts and continuing to implement its strategy of creating sustainable value, serving its customers, partners, and shareholders,” the press release concludes.
