Ministry of Health Urges Families to Complete Children’s Vaccinations

Rabat – The Ministry of Health and Social Protection called on families Wednesday to complete their children’s vaccinations and confirmed the availability of vaccines included in the National Immunization Program (NIP).

In a statement, the Ministry urged families to verify that their children have received all the doses scheduled according to the national vaccination program and, if necessary, to visit their nearest health center to receive the required vaccines, in accordance with current recommendations and guidelines.

This appeal is part of the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen disease prevention and protect children’s health, the statement added.

After confirming the availability of sufficient quantities of vaccines included in the National Immunization Program to meet current needs, the Ministry emphasized that it is overseeing their distribution to regional depots and health centers as required, ensuring continuous availability. It also reiterated that these vaccines are administered free of charge under the National Immunization Program.

The Ministry emphasized that vaccination is one of the most effective means of disease prevention, noting that the resurgence of certain vaccine-preventable diseases is linked to declining vaccination coverage, both nationally and internationally.

The Ministry renewed its appeal to all families to adhere to the national vaccination schedule, verify their children’s vaccination status, and administer any missing doses, thereby contributing to their protection and strengthening individual and collective prevention efforts.
