Heavy thunderstorms with hail and strong winds expected Monday and Tuesday in several provinces of the Kingdom (alert bulletin)

Rabat – Heavy thunderstorms with a risk of hail and strong winds are expected Monday and Tuesday in several provinces of the Kingdom, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).

With rainfall totals between 50 and 80 mm, these storms are forecast from 2:00 PM on Monday until 11:00 PM on Tuesday in the provinces of Boujdour, Oued-Ed-Dahab, and Aousserd, the DGM stated in an orange-level weather alert bulletin.

Furthermore, the same phenomenon (30 to 50 mm) is expected during the same period in the provinces of Laâyoune, Es-Semara, and Tarfaya, the same source added.
