MDS Party Willing to Provide Necessary Support to Ensure Success of New Governmental Experience

Rabat – Democratic and Social Movement (MDS) Party Secretary-General Abdessamad Archane said Thursday in Rabat that his party is willing to provide the necessary support and assistance to ensure the success of the new government.

In a press statement following his talks with Head of Government-designate El Mansouri as part of consultations with various political parties on the formation of the new cabinet, Archane said the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges facing Morocco over the next five years.

He stressed that the expected government program should take into account current social challenges, particularly the need to support citizens’ purchasing power and preserve the accomplishments already achieved. 

After noting that El Mansouri had taken note of the party’s observations, he said that the success of this new governmental experience “will be a success for the Nation and all citizens.”

He also said the meeting was an opportunity to congratulate El Mansouri on the High Royal Trust placed in her, noting that the appointment of a woman as head of government constitutes a major event and an honor for Moroccan women.

Abdellatif Ouahbi, Fouzi Lekjaa, and Ahmed Akhchichine took part in the meeting on behalf of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, alongside Mahmoud Archane and Fatiha Lahjouji from the MDS.
