Heatwave and thunderstorms with a risk of hail and strong winds from Thursday to Sunday (Alert Bulletin)
Rabat – A heatwave and thunderstorms with a risk of hail and strong winds are expected from Thursday to Sunday in several provinces of the Kingdom, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).

A heatwave with temperatures ranging between 36 and 42°C will affect the provinces of Oued Ed-Dahab, Boujdour, Laayoune, Es-Semara, and Aousserd from Thursday to Sunday, the DGM stated in an orange-level weather alert bulletin.

In addition, thunderstorms (20 to 35 mm) with a risk of hail and wind gusts under storms will affect the provinces of Taourirt, Al Haouz, Taza, Guercif, Sefrou, Boulemane, Midelt, Khenifra, Ifrane, Beni Mellal and Azilal on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
