Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency Sponsors Al-Quds Forum for Handicrafts & Creativity

Al Quds – The “Al-Quds Forum for Handicrafts and Creativity,” sponsored by Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, was held Saturday in Al-Quds, bringing together Palestinian writers, academics and cultural figures to discuss contemporary literature, creativity and the impact of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI).

The Forum served as a space for dialogue on literature, writing, and creativity in the face of contemporary changes, bringing together established literary and academic figures alongside emerging voices.

The program featured notably a keynote address by Palestinian writer Aref Al-Husseini, roundtable discussions, literary and poetic readings, musical performances, and a space dedicated to books.

The first cultural session, titled “Literature in an Era of Change,” focused on the challenges of contemporary writing, the evolving relationship between the writer and the new reader, and the impact of technology and artificial intelligence on the future of literary creation, with the participation of Sanaa Attari, Khaled Ghaith, and Ali Abu Sneineh.

The second session, organized under the theme “From Experience to Text,” was devoted to the experiences that lead to writing and the transformation of personal experiences into creative texts, with the participation of Wafaa Dari, Hachem Al-Sayed, Abir Abu Eid, Hala Al-Razem, and Atta Omeira.

Poets Moataz Al-Qotb, Naim Jweiles and Walid Abu Teir also gave poetry readings celebrating Al-Quds through poetry.

Organized by the Al-Yasmine Association for the Support and Empowerment of Al-Quds Women, the forum featured panel discussions, literary and poetry readings, musical performances and a book exhibition, highlighting Palestinian cultural identity and emerging literary voices.
