Legislative Elections: Voting Facilities Granted to Public and Private Sector Staff (Official Statement)

Rabat — A statement issued by the Head of Government’s Office announced that, in connection with the upcoming legislative elections to elect members of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, and in accordance with Circular No. 14/2026 dated September 1, 2026, relevant officials across the public sector are called upon to facilitate voting access for all personnel.

Heads of public administrations, general directors and directors of state-owned enterprises and public institutions, as well as presidents of territorial council executives, are requested to grant the necessary arrangements to enable all staff, employees, and agents across various public services to fulfill their national duty and exercise their right to vote, while ensuring the continued smooth operation of public services.

The statement further noted that, in the interest of upholding genuine civic values, “the Head of Government urges private sector leadership to take all appropriate measures to allow their management and workforce to exercise their right to vote on election day.”
