CHAN-Cameroon 2021: Results of the matches of Friday 22 January
Here are the results of the matches, played on Friday, as part of the group stage of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) for local players which is being held in Cameroon from January 16 to February 7:
The teams from Group C have played their second match. The Moroccan selection drew (0-0) against its Rwandan counterpart. Despite this draw, the Atlas lions retain their leading position with 4 points.
In the group’s other game, Togo won against Uganda (2-1).
The goals of the Togolese were scored by Paul Mbowa against his camp (48th) and Nane (57th).
The Ugandan’s only achievement was Kyeyune’s 51st minute.
At the end of the day, Togo, which now has three points to its credit, moved up to second behind Morocco. Rwanda tumbles to 3rd place, followed by Uganda who brings up the rear with just one point.

Togo-Uganda (2-1)

On Saturday, Group D will play its second day. Zambia and Guinea, leading the group with 3 points each, will face off in Limbe (17h GMT + 1).
In the other match, Namibia and Tanzania (zero points each) will cross swords still at Limbe (20 GMT + 1) in search of a first victory.
