Covid-19: 153 New Confirmed Cases in Morocco

One hundred and fifty-three (153) new cases of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco during the last 24 hours, bringing to 6,063 the total number of cases of contamination, the ministry of Health announced Sunday.

The number of cured people has risen, until Sunday at 4 p.m., to 2,554 with 93 new recoveries, said director of Epidemiology and Disease Control at the ministry of Health, Mohamed El Youbi, in a statement broadcast by MAP on its TV channel M24 and on RIM RADIO.

Two new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities to 188, the official added.

The ministry of Health urges citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety, as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
