The pension reform bill presented by the government proposes to raise gradually the retirement age to 63 years by 2019, said on Tuesday Government Chief, Abdelilah Benkirane.
The government proposes to raise the retirement age to 61 years starting from January 1st 2017, to 62 years starting from January 1st 2018 and to 63 years starting from January 1st 2019, said Benkirane.
Benkirane was speaking before the House of Representatives (Lower House) at the monthly meeting on the general policy of the government.
