On invitation of his Moroccan counterpart, Hakima El Haite, the French Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, Segolene Royal will visit Morocco on 12 and 13 October, says the Economist.
Ségolène Royal will participate with Hakima El Haite in a conference on national contributions in the context of the climate convention (INDC). According to the business daily the French Minister will discuss with her counterpart action plans for countries to lower greenhouse gases.
The meeting is also expected to bring the positions of the two countries for the COP21 climate conference that Paris will host from November 30 to 11 December. the discussions will also focus on the journey to the COP 22 conference that Morocco will host in 2016, described as “the action of conference”.
