Morocco is a country at risk for Israeli tourists. Israeli Office of the National Security Council (NSC) forthe fight against terrorism. In a statement released on 25 August, on the eve of holidays (September 13 to October 5), the lists of NSC put Morocco among countries that Israeli citizens are urged to avoid.
But the kingdom is among the “less dangerous” countries. The NSC called Israeli citizens to categorically avoid destinations such as Libya, Sudan, Somalia or Burkina Faso and Togo. “Any Israeli found in one of these countries is asked to leave immediately,” demands the NSC in a statement. Most Arab countries that should be avoided according to the statement. Among the proscribed destinations include Libya, Algeria, Mauritania, Tunisia, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The NSC reminds Israeli citizens is “illegal to travel to Syria, Iraq (Kurdish region included), Iran, Lebanon, Yemen and Saudi Arabia.”
