King Mohammed VI chaired a cabinet in which were adopted a number of texts of laws and international conventions? on Tuesday at the Royal Palace in Casablanca.

The Council of Ministers considered and adopted two draft organic laws relating respectively to the establishment of the conditions and procedures for exercising the right to present petitions to public authorities, as well as legislative matters motions.

Each of the two projects, which set for the submission by the citizens petitions and motions, as appropriate, stipulates the creation of a commission presentation of the petition or motion, the establishment of a list of support including the names of the signatories. It also sets the conditions for accepting petitions and motions, including those to serve a public interest, and the procedure of its review and notification of decisions taken to this effect.

Subsequently, the Council adopted a draft Dahir on the status of military judges, clerks officers and NCOs clerk clerks and the institution of general provisions. This project aims to adapt the current status with the provisions of the Code of Military Justice and those of the status of officers of the Royal Armed Forces both in terms of salaries and missions of the military judges and the clerk that the conditions of appointment and training and the procedures for the exercise of their functions to the military court, and the management of their situation.

In the context of compliance by Morocco with its international commitments and strengthening its bilateral relations with many countries brothers and friends, the Council of Ministers adopted 11 international conventions, backed by legislation, namely: – The Convention on International Institute for the Unification of Law on Stolen or Illegally Exported Cultural Objects.

– Ten bilateral conventions relating in particular to judicial cooperation in criminal matters and the cultural and artistic cooperation, as well as in the areas of health, shipping, mutual assistance in customs matters, and mutual emergency management, in addition to a framework cooperation agreement.
