Algiers – Fifteen people were killed in communal clashes that rocked the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in the city of Ghardaia (600 km east of Algiers), bringing to 18 the number of fatalities in the clashes during the last 48 hours, said an official source.
The victims died of their injuries from projectiles and throwing stones during clashes between youth groups in the regions of Guerrara and Mzab Valley, APS reported, quoting local and hospital sources.
