Rabat – Moroccan athlete Hayat Lambarki achieved the minimum qualification to the World Championships in Beijing 2015 (22-30 August) by signing a time of 55.94 in the men’s 400m hurdles, Sunday Rabat, as part of the 8th edition of the international athletics meeting Mohammed VI, 8th stage of the IAAF World Challenge.
Lambarki, who finished 3rd, achieved its best performance in 2015 as the winner of the race, the South African Nel Wenda (55.36) and Ukrainian Anna Titmets (55.86), which occupied the 2nd place.
The world record in this event (52.34) is still owned by the Russian Yuliya Pechenkina.
