Morocco Expels Two Amnesty Workers and the Cause is

Rabat – The Department of the Interior decided the expulsion from the country two foreign nationals, pursuant to the provisions of Law 02.03 on the entry and residence of foreigners in the Kingdom for having conducted a field survey on the situation of immigrants and asylum seekers in Morocco, without the prior permission of the competent authorities.

The Moroccan authorities had requested, through the Interministerial Delegation for Human Rights, Amnesty International, not to perform this mission until the conclusion of an agreement between the two parties, said the Ministry of Interior in a statement.
