Morocco and France to strengthen cooperation between their security services
Paris – Morocco and France reiterated Thursday in Paris, their full readiness to strengthen cooperation between the security services in the two countries, particularly in the fight against terrorism and organized crime in all its forms and by a confident and intense exchange of information and experiences.
In an interview on the sidelines of the 12 th high-level Morocco-France meeting, the Interior Minister Mohamed Assad and his French counterpart Bernard Cazeneuve also agreed, in the management of migratory flows, need to promote a coordinated approach to address the migration challenge, become a priority issue in the Mediterranean area.
M. Assad and Cazeneuve also stressed that the sincere commitment of their respective departments to further strengthen their cooperation, coupled with the political will to give a new impetus to Moroccan-French relations, which will reinforce the exceptional partnership linking the two countries.
The two ministers also reviewed during the meeting, the status of cooperation in the areas under the jurisdiction of their respective departments and discussed ways that may be implemented to further strengthen this cooperation.
