Agadir – Wydad Casablanca (WAC) won its 13th title of national football champion in its history, after crushing Hassania Agadir (HUSA) Grand stage of Agadir on the score 0- 3 Saturday in a match counting for the 29th and penultimate day of the Championship Pro Elite 1.
Visitors were charged with a treble of the Gabonese striker, 23, Malick Evouna (24th, 57th and 74th).
Thanks to this success, the 16th of the season (4th row) against 2 losses and 11 draws, WAC totaled 59 points, ahead of his nearest rival 6 lengths, Olympique Khouribga Club (53 points).
The agadiris languishing in 7th place with 39 points (10 wins, 9 draws and 10 defeats).
Wydad and Khouribga Olympique Club have both struggled in the last days of the championship to win the title finally removed by the “red and white” before more than 30,000 spectators in Agadir.
This is the 13th title Wydad (new record) after those of 1957, 1966, 1969, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1986, 1990, 1991, 1993, 2006 and 2010.
