Temara – The French rider Johan Le Goff won the Grand Prix HM King Mohammed VI, Sunday at the royal cavalry school in Temara, in the official competition of jumping barriers to open seniors and horses of category 1 (07-10 May).
Le Goff, amount “Penelope Kerellec”, won after a clear round in 88sec 76 / 100th. The young Moroccan Ouddar Soukaina, amount “Reading of Siena”, was awarded second place in 82sec 13/100 and with four penalty points, while the other Moroccan Ali Al Ahrachi on “Cinchona du Moulin”, completes the podium 57sec 89/100 and with four penalty points.
After this prestigious competition, the Grand Prix King Mohammed VI was awarded to the winner rider, by General de corps, inspector general of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the South Zone, Bouchaib Arroub in the presence of several military and civilian officials, including the governor of the prefecture of Skhirat-Temara, Younes El Kasmi.
Le Goff, who praised the warm welcome and hospitality of Moroccan, said he was happy to have won this competition.
“I am very pleased to have won the Grand Prix HM King Mohammed VI. He was a very good course and a great track. I hope to be here next year to defend this precious title” a- he told MAP at the end of this competition.
The program of the competition, held from 7 to 10 May 2015 under the aegis of the Moroccan Royal Federation of equestrian sports, included 22 events, including the qualifications of military championship, playoff championship cadets Morocco, criterium, juniors and seniors whose finals will be played as part of the 2015 Horse Week (20-26 July).
