Rabat – The Interior Ministry categorically denied Wednesday that it had sent a correspondence to the presidents of urban and rural municipalities prohibiting them from signing any document relating to the markets until the holding of the forthcoming local elections.
This denial comes after information relayed by some national media reports of the issuance by the Ministry of correspondence to the presidents of urban and rural communities, said the Interior Ministry in a statement, adding that “presidents advice of local authorities will continue under the law, to perform their duties in the public interest service until the end of their mandates”.
