Morocco condemns the terrorist attack in the north of Mali

Rabat – Morocco has strongly condemned the terrorist attack perpetrated on Thursday against a camp Multidimensional UN Integrated Mission for Stabilization in Mali (MINUSMA) in the Gao region in northern Mali.

‘The Kingdom of Morocco condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attack against Mission camp of Multidimensional Integrated UN Stabilization in Mali (MINUSMA) at asango in the region of Gao, killing at least three victims and injured members of the peacekeepers Minusma, ” says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in a statement.

While presenting its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Malian authorities and the victims’ families, Morocco expresses solidarity with the Minusma and ” welcomes the efforts of the Mission and the States that contribute to achieving peace and security in Mali and safeguard its unity and sovereignty, ” says the source.
