CAN-2017: Designation of the host country of CAN Today

Cairo – The host of the African football Cup of Nations (CAN-2017) will be appointed Wednesday on the sidelines of the 37th Ordinary General Meeting of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

A meeting will be held between the executive committee of CAF and the delegations of the candidate countries, namely Algeria, Gabon and Ghana, announced at a press conference Tuesday in Cairo.

After the announcement of the host of the 31th edition, the African body will conduct the draw of qualifying for the CAN-2017 starting in June 2015 with the participation of 52 teams that will be paid in 13 groups of four.
