African Junior Championships: Moroccan Mouhsine Khoua won long jump gold medal

Addis Ababa – Moroccan athlete Mouhsine Khoua was crowned champion in the long jump at the African Junior Athletics Championships Africa played from 5 to 8 March in Addis Abdeba Ethiopia.

Khoua made a jump 7,45m before the Nigerian Theddus Okpara (7m44) and the Algerian Yasser Triki (7m39). In the pole vault, her compatriot Nahid Klilou was crowned vice-champion with a jump of 2.20m. At 1,500m, the Moroccan Osama Nabil qualified for the final of the event.

The Moroccan team who is playing the 12th edition of the African Championships consists of 12 athletes, including 06 girls and 06 boys in 09 events. At the last edition in 2013 fought in Bambous, Mauritius Moroccan selection finished 8th with 4 medals (2 gold and 2 bronze). This is Nigeria who won editing with 19 medals.
