Ifrand Ski Club won the Moroccan championship of Alpine Skiing

Marrakech- The Ski Club of Ifrane (SCI) won the Morocco Alpine Ski Championship competitions which took place this weekend at the Oukaimeden Ski Resort.

During this national alpine ski racing, the Ifrane Ski Club (ICS) was awarded the top step of the podium ranking team, becoming champion of Morocco Club for 2014/2015 season, thanks to the three best times of the competition made by his team and that in aggregate is 3′.08. ” 89th.

The second place went to the University Sports Association of Casablanca (ASUC) whose best team trio achieved a cumulative chrono 3′.19. ” 77th, followed by the FAR team ranked third team with a combination of the three best lap times 3′.24 ”. 25 / 100th.

The Oukaimeden ski resort (province of El Haouz) hosted during this weekend, Morocco Alpine Ski Championships under the 2014/2015 season organized by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Ski and Mountain (FRMSSM ) in collaboration with the Province of El Haouz.

Some 12 national clubs affiliated with the FRMSSM represented by 54 athletes among the best skiers of Morocco participated in the national competition on a Giant Slalom 25 doors.

The ceremony awards to athletes and clubs champions was held in the presence of the President of the FRMSSM and federal members, representatives of the local authority and many visitors to the resort.

At the same time, the Federation organized the day before the event a torchlight descent performed by skiers participating in the championship of Morocco who presented to the public a nocturnal art table on the track of the automatic lift of the Oukaimeden station.
