Morocco has condemned Monday the attacks that targeted last Saturday a cultural center and synagogue in the Danish capital, and expressed solidarity with Denmark, following the terrorist act that left two dead and four wounded.
“Following the armed attack that targeted Saturday, February 14, 2015 a cultural center and a synagogue in the Danish capital, and that left two dead and four wounded, the Kingdom of Morocco expresses its condemnation of this terrorist act, presents its condolences and sympathy to the families of the two victims and wishes speedy recovery to the wounded, while expressing its solidarity with the Kingdom of Denmark, government and people, “said a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
“The Kingdom of Morocco reiterates its rejection of all forms of terrorism and acts of violence linked to religious extremism, whatever the motives and the parties responsible for these acts and once again calls on the need to avoid raising tensions around the celestial religions tolerant of offending religious beliefs and to despise the prophets and messengers, “the statement concluded.
