The return of the Emirates in the fight against Daech, could also mean that of Morocco, as the F-16 are under Moroccan Emirati command.
Indeed, given the rapid Daech advanced in Iraq and Syria, a Moroccan official interviewed by the AFP news agency, announced the “active support” of Morocco to the UAE in their fight against terrorism and to preserve peace and regional and international stability, recalling that the kingdom was “threatened by the same groups” jihadists as the United Arab Emirates.
