Gov’t Formation Talks With PAM Tackled Issues of Concern to Moroccans – UC Party Head

Rabat – Constitutional Union Secretary-General Mohamed Joudar said Thursday in Rabat that his consultations with Head of Government-designate Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, who was tasked with forming a new government, addressed fundamental issues of concern to Moroccans.

These include employment, education, healthcare, and strengthening purchasing power, Joudar told the press at the close of the talks.

He highlighted Morocco’s potential to achieve greater prosperity over the next five years by attaching importance to both social projects and major international events, such as the 2030 World Cup, as well as railway, airport, and tourism projects.

In his view, these initiatives will help strengthen the Kingdom’s international outreach and open up new investment opportunities. Joudar noted that these projects constitute a cornerstone in implementing the High Royal Guidelines aimed at ensuring that Morocco moves forward at a unified pace and achieves territorial and social justice.

The meeting, he pointed out, was also an opportunity to congratulate El Mansouri on the High Royal Trust placed in her, noting that the appointment of a woman as head of government reflects the attention given to women and the place they hold in society.

Abdellatif Ouahbi, Fouzi Lekjaa, and Ahmed Akhchichine took part in the talks on behalf of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, along with Chaoui Belassal and El Hassan Abyaba from the Constitutional Union.
