Two trucks transporting drugs intercepted in Marrakech

Marrakesh elements of the police managed to intercept two refrigerated trucks carrying a quantity of drugs for abroad, said Saturday police source.

The two refrigerated trucks belonging to international road transport company carried a total quantity of 52 kg of cannabis resin concealed in the cooling system of the two vehicles, said the same source.

As part of this, the elements of the police have also arrested ten people involved in the drug trade internationally in addition to the seizure of three light vehicles.

An investigation was launched to identify all those involved in the drug trade and those arrested will be brought to justice at the end of legal proceedings, said the police source.
