The anti-Islam movement Pegida obtained permission to hold a rally on Monday in the Swedish city of Malm, reports the public radio SR.
The authorization was issued by the police of Malm and the gathering will be held at a place in the city center, said SR.
The event will be organized by the gallery owner Henrik RNnquist and street artist Dan Park who have already been convicted in the past for incitement to racial hatred.
Pegida (acronym for “European Patriots against the Islamization of the West”) organized several events in Germany in recent months, attracting thousands of people in different cities.
Note that hundreds of thousands of people across Germany have also participated in demonstrations against-and called for tolerance and respect for multiculturalism.
The movement has spread in Germany and also in other European countries like Spain, Denmark and Switzerland.
