The largest military exercise of the continent led by Morocco and the USA

The Kingdom of Morocco and the United States of America invited to participate in the military exercise, the largest on the African continent, African Lion 2015, the armies of Germany, the United Kingdom, Tunisia, Mauritania and Senegal, and more participants, the Belgian armed and the Netherlands.

the military contingents from countries in the aforementioned list, will attend from 2 February 2015 in Agadir, next to the royal Armed Forces and the US marine Corps to launch the African Lion 2015, which this year will be composed of two phases:

The first consisting of strengthening military intelligence building program and organization of a joint command of international forces coalition, faced with a major crisis. The exercise will take place under a scenario that focuses on the management of humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, security areas of operations, command and control and naval maneuvers.

The US Marine Corps also indicates that the 2015 edition of the African Lion, will see the participation of the Royal Air Forces and Air Component Marines for parallel air exercise called Majestic Eagle, during which the Moroccan and US Air Force will train with refueling techniques in flight and close air support.
