Moroccan Justice Minister had talks About Judicial Cooperation With France
Paris-MDN- The Minister of Justice and Liberties, Mustapha Ramid, met Friday in Paris, with the presidents of the National Assembly and the French Senate respectively Claude Bartelone and Gérard Larcher.
At these meetings, which were held in the presence of the Ambassador of Morocco in Paris, Chakib Benmoussa, emphasis was placed on the importance of giving more vitality to the relationship between France and Morocco, and find appropriate solutions in the shortest possible time, the differences between the two countries including judicial cooperation agreements.
Mr. Ramid had held on Thursday a working meeting with his French counterpart Christiane Taubira, marked by fruitful discussions to reach consensus required on the most appropriate formulas for the resolution of the issue of bilateral judicial cooperation.
In this regard, Mr. Ramid stressed that Morocco aspires to resolve differences with France in the field of judicial cooperation within the framework of what is permitted by the Constitution and French law.
The two ministers resumed their talks Friday to discuss all aspects of the bilateral agreement on judicial cooperation.
