Royal instructions to the relevant departments to mobilize in order to cope with the expected sharp drop in temperatures in parts of the Kingdom

HM King Mohammed VI gave His High Instructions to the Ministries of Interior and Health, Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Gendarmerie and the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity to mobilize in order to cope with the expected sharp drop in temperatures in parts of the Kingdom, especially in the Middle and High Atlas and the Haouz, said a statement from the Interior Ministry.

In accordance with the high royal instructions, there will be the establishment of two field hospitals in the regions concerned and taking all measures in coordination with local authorities to provide the necessary assistance to the people of these regions to ensure their safety and tranquility, the statement added.

These measures include, among others, the mobilization of helicopters for transportation, if needed, for people affected by the drop in temperatures to health centers, the ministry said.
