Moroccan Anas Bourak third in the UAE competition of “Mounchid Sharjah”

Moroccan religious singer, Anas Bourak won Friday’s third place in the final of “Mounchid Echariqa”, a program of the TV channel of the UAE Sharjah TV.

The Syrian Maan Barghout was awarded second place behind the Algerian Kamal Rizk, winner of the seventh edition of this contest, organized as part of the festivities to celebrate the Emirate of Sharjah, designated the capital of Islamic culture of year 2014.

This year, the final opposed six young religious singers from Morocco, Algeria, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman.

The Jury of the competition, which brings together the best young religious singers in the Arab and Muslim world, was composed of Mohamed Tharwat (Egypt), Lotfi Bouchnaq (Tunisia), Osama Safi (United Arab Emirates) and Assem Al Benni (Syria).
