The heads of states and delegations from countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is welcomed on Tuesday in Doha, the positive results of strengthening the strategic partnership with Morocco and Jordan.
Following the work of the 35th summit of the GCC, the Gulf States emphasized in their final declaration that they have been informed of the “progress made in strengthening the strategic partnership that exists with the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Jordan, and they inquired about strategic dialogue between the Council and other groups, and welcomed the results achieved in this regard. “
Regarding the economic aspect, the summit endorsed the steps taken by the Secretariat General of the GCC to achieve a customs union and, in addition, called for work to complement the financial markets of countries of the Council as well as complete the proposed establishment of a railway line connecting the Gulf countries by 2018.
The summit also stressed the need for further action to strengthen the complementarity between the Gulf countries in different economic areas.
In this sense the summit decided to instruct the GCC advisory body to consider issues of development of the partnership between the public and private sectors in the Gulf and those relating to the improvement of citizens of the countries income the Council and the future of oil and gas resources as a source of wealth and power that it is preserved in a secure strategically and Development.
