Meeting with El Mansouri, Opportunity for Discussing Challenges & Future Prospects – RNI Head

Rabat – President of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) party Mohamed Chouki stated that the meeting held Wednesday in Rabat with the head of government-designate tasked with forming the new government, Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, was an opportunity to explore the challenges and prospects of the upcoming phase.

In a statement to the press following the meeting with El Mansouri, held as part of her consultations with political parties to form the new government, the RNI president spoke of “responsible” discussions, which were conducted in “clarity and candor.”

The RNI, as a “responsible party,” will contribute to the next phase by consistently prioritizing the supreme interest of the nation, he affirmed.

He also expressed his party’s pride following the appointment by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of El Mansouri as head of government, noting that the appointment of a woman to this position, a first in Morocco, is “a historic moment” in the Kingdom’s political history.

Abdellatif Ouahbi, Fouzi Lekjaa, and Ahmed Akhchichine represented the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) at the meeting, while Rachid Talbi Alami and Mohamed Boussaid attended on behalf of the RNI.
