2026 Elections: Final Results Perfectly Match with Previously Announced Preliminary Results – Interior Ministry

Rabat – The final results of the legislative elections organized on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, announced by the provincial and regional census commissions, perfectly match with the previously announced preliminary results, the Ministry of the Interior said in a statement on Friday.

Following the conclusion by the provincial and regional census commissions chaired by the Magistrates across the various prefectures, provinces, district prefectures, and regions of the Kingdom of the vote-counting operations and the proclamation of the election results for members of the House of Representatives held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, as well as the drawing up of the corresponding official reports and the filing of a copy thereof with the Constitutional Court in line with legislative provisions, the Minister of the Interior informs the public that the final results proclaimed by the said commissions fully match with the provisional general results announced previously.

Consequently, it is fitting to recall the general results officially announced at the local electoral districts and regional electoral districts, as follows:

The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) leads with 97 seats

The National Rally of Independents (RNI, 66 seats) 

The Istiqlal Party (PI, 65 seats)

The Justice and Development Party (PJD, 54 seats)

The Popular Movement (MP, 29 seats)

The Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP, 26 seats)

The Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS, 19 seats)

The Constitutional Union (UC, 17 seats)

The Democratic and Social Movement (MDS, 8 seats)

The Left Alliance (AG, 8 seats)

The Front of Democratic Forces (FFD, 2 seats)

The Party of Equity (PE, 2 seats)

The Party of New Democrats (PND, 1 seat)

The Party of Unity and Democracy (PUD, 1 seat)

The Ministry of the Interior also recalls that, in line with the provisions of article 86 of the Organic Law on the House of Representatives, all concerned candidates hold the right to consult – at the seat of the region’s local administrative authority, prefecture, province, district prefecture or wilaya – the reports of the voting offices, the central offices, the prefecture, province or district prefecture census commissions, as well as the reports of the regional census commission. This consultation could be made for a period of eight days during official working hours, starting from the filing date of the reports.

The organic law also grants any candidate whose election is subject to an appeal the right to consult the official reports of the electoral operations and to obtain a copy thereof at the headquarters of the local administrative authority, prefecture, province, district prefecture, or regional wilaya, for a period of eight days during official working hours, starting from the date of receipt of the appeal petition.
