Moroccan writer Hassan Najmi won the fraternity prize, awarded by the Cultural Foundation Arnaldo Fortini

Rabat – The Moroccan writer and poet Hassan Najmi won the fellowship award, presented by the Cultural Foundation Arnaldo Fortini Assisi in the city, located in Umbria, in the province of Perugia, Italy.

The ceremony of awards will take place on March 14 current Assisi, has-been learned from Mr. Najmi.

Assisi which is a spiritual capital and a must Mass in the Catholic tradition, is on the list of World Heritage of UNESCO (UNESCO ).

The award is named after the Italian writer and historian Arnaldo Fortini who was mayor of the city of 1923-1943.

The prize is given to cultural and artistic personalities that promote the spread of dialogue and openness values.

The poet Hassan Najmi was awarded the price Rocca Flea poetry (Italy) for his collection “Al Mostahimmate” (The Bathers) in 2009.
