N’Djamena – Young Chadians trained in Morocco are called to put their skills into their respective communities and the development of their country, affirmed the Chadian Minister of Youth and Sports, Nair Abakar.
Chad expects the youth trained in Morocco to transform their knowledge into concrete projects that create jobs and wealth for their provinces, the minister emphasized speaking at a ceremony held on Monday by the Kingdom’s embassy in N’Djamena in honor of 100 Chadian youths selected for the Entrepreneurial Excellence Program, resulting from a partnership between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Private University of Health and Sciences of Agadir.
Abakar welcomed this initiative, which represents, according to him, a shared will to strengthen youth skills and prepare a new generation of entrepreneurs capable of contributing to Chad’s development.
He expressed his profound gratitude to HM King Mohammed VI for his commitment to Morocco-Chad cooperation and African youth development.
For his part, Morocco’s Ambassador to Chad, Abdellatif Erroja, stated that the entrepreneurial excellence project is a practical training program designed to support 100 young Chadians in creating and developing their own businesses, and contributing to the development of their home provinces.
This project is part of the cooperation between the two countries in youth training, skills development, and the promotion of entrepreneurship, he said, inviting all Moroccan and Chadian stakeholders to explore other similar areas of partnerships in many fields of cooperation, especially in youth and sports.
He stated that Morocco-Chad cooperation, rooted in a strong historical foundation, has been experiencing the past years a steady, continuous, and dynamic development, with an orientation toward greater diversification.
The diplomat reaffirmed the Kingdom’s readiness to share its expertise with Chad in all areas and to encourage the Moroccan private sector to become more involved in the country’s sustainable development process.
The Entrepreneurial Excellence Program offers beneficiaries 3 years of training in Morocco, focusing on entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and the creation of projects that generate wealth and jobs.
