Rabat – Here is the weather forecast issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology for Tuesday, October 6, 2026:

• Persistent tropical cloud cover with locally heavy thunderstorms and strong gusts of wind over the southern provinces.
• Local thunderstorms over the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, the Rif Mountains, and the Saiss Plain.
• Dense cloud cover over the northern and central plains, the Phosphate Plateau, and the Oulmes Plateau, with rain or locally heavy thunderstorms.
• Partly cloudy skies elsewhere.
• Moderate to strong gusts of wind in places over the Atlas Mountains, the northern and central plains, and the Rif Mountains.
• Minimum temperatures of around 8-16°C in the Atlas and Rif Mountains, 17-20°C in the eastern High Plateaus and the eastern slopes of the Atlas Mountains, and 20-25°C elsewhere.
• Temperatures falling in the south, the plains west of the Atlas Mountains, and along the Mediterranean coast.
• Calm to slight seas in the Mediterranean, the Strait of Gibraltar, north of Mehdia, and south of Boujdour, becoming slight to moderate elsewhere.
